Death
On Wednesday February 28, 2018, Haley Marie Wood died early in the morning after hitting the median on Georgia 400 and traveling across three lanes of traffic. [1]
At around 6:45 a.m., Wood was traveling northbound on Georgia 400, approaching the Majors Road Bridge, and lost control, striking the concrete median wall.
The car then traveled back across three lanes, existed the roadway and struck a tree.
Wood was pronounced dead when sheriff's deputies and firemen arrived on the scene.
