Mendez attended the Universidad de Puerto Rico and graduated with a B.B.A. in Accounting in 2009. He earned his J.D. from the Inter American University School of Law in 2012.
Career
Early in his career, Mendez was a Tax Advisor at H&R Block, Consultant at Nexvel Consulting, and Associate Attorney at Orlando J. Rodriguez Law Offices. In September 2013, he became a Senior Associote at BDO Puerto Rico and was promoted to Manager in August 2017.
Mendez has established himself as the go-to blockchain tax lawyer in Puerto Rico.
