Giovanna Coia graduated from St. Joseph High School in Hammonton in 2012.

She later attended the Catholic University of America and earned a bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government.

Giovanna started her career as a research assistant for the WomanTrend extension of the polling company.

She went on to become a legal intern at The Vigilante Law Firm.

Her next gig was with congress as a legislative and press intern for Rep. Congressman Steve King (R-IA).

Coia later returned to the polling company as a research associate for WomanTrend.

In January of 2019 she wqas hired as a press assistant for the White House.

Giovanna Coia hails from Sicklerville, NJ and is the cousin of presidential advisor Kellyanne Conway.

On September 14th 2019, she married the John Pence, the nephew of vice president Mike Pence and the song of representative Greg Pence.

The two were married in a high security ceremony at St. Nicholas of Tolentine Church.

Law enforcement closed off an area around St. Nicholas along Tennessee Avenue between Atlantic and Pacific avenues.

Pacific was closed from New York to South Carolina avenues.

The Federal Aviation Administration even issued a temporary flight restriction for the area.

The reception was held at Resorts Casino Hotel and the bride was escorted by a motorcade and picked up in a vintage Cadillac.

Some of the gifts they received at their wedding included a helicopter ride, a boat ride in Maui, Hawaii, a couples massage and a sunset sail in Kona, Hawaii.

Giovanna's hobbies include karaoke, reading, traveling, trying new foods and meeting new people.

Her favorite author is Jodi Picoult.

She is a skilled pianist.

Coia was crowned Miss Teen South Jersey in a beauty pageant.
