Ginni Chatrath was born on November 18, 1989, in Jalandhar, Punjab, India she is an Indian actress and Comedian. She gained popularity for her indigenous roles in movies and also for being the wife of famous stand-up comedian Kapil Sharma (comedian).

She was born as Bhavneet Chatrath to a Hindu- Sikh family. Her father is a well-known Businessperson from Jalandhar and her mother is a homemaker. Ginni has a younger sister named Harleen Chatrath. She is a firm believer of Dera Baba Murad Shah and Baba Laddi Shah from Nakodar city, Punjab.

She attended and completed her schooling at MGN Public School, Jalandhar and completed her graduation at Guru Nanak Dev University College, Jalandhar. Later went on to finish her Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from DAV Institute of Engineering & Technology, Jalandhar. ^[4]
