Early Life & Education

In 2008, George Coxon graduated from St Mary's School, Ascot an independent Roman Catholic school in Ascot, Berkshire, United Kingdom.

For her A Levels she studied Biology, Chemistry, and Art.

At St. Mary's, Coxon was a Science Scholar, Duke of Edinburgh: Bronze & Silver recipient, Head of House, and an Artistic Director.

[2]Coxon graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Evolutionary Anthropology with honors.

She was the Co-founder of the University of Liverpool's first Scrabble Society.

She also regularly played competitive sports.

Career

Since January 2018, George Coxon has been the Head of Operations and Partnerships at Nano (formerly Raiblocks), a DAG cryptocurrency offering instantaneous transactions with zero fees.

She leads the company's internal operations while also procuring partnerships and integrations for the cryptocurrency which are then be released to Nano's growing community.

Coxon had been involved with Nano for years before she was hired in 2018 and was an early faucet user.

[1] [2]From 2015-2017, Coxon was a Senior Account Executive at Nonsense London, a leading creative agency in London.

She focused on project management and client support at the agency.

Clients Coxon worked with include Airbnb, BBC iPlayer, Virgin Trains, Cancer Research UK, Greenpeace, and Oakley.

From February-March 2012, Coxon interned at Inmarsat, a global satellite network, focusing on Public Relations (PR) and participating in high level marketing meetings under the guidance of Chris McLaughlin.

She helped develop the website for Global Xpress, the first high-speed broadband network to span the globe.[2]

In 2010, Coxon interned at Saxo Bank, a top international online trading bank, where she learned about multi-asset trading.
