Wright and two other men, Curtis Allen and Patrick Stein, were charged with domestic terrorism after Federal Authorities thwarted their plans to bomb an apartment complex that was occupied by residents of Somali descent.

All three key members of The Crusaders, a local militia group who regularly had meetings in southwest Kansas.

A confidential source attended meetings and reported the plot to the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Their plan was to place four vehicles at the four corners of the apartment complex, fill each one with explosives, then detonate the vehicles to create maximum damage to the area.

In their plot manifesto, their goal of the attack was to "wake up the people."

Wright faces life in prison if convicted.
