Martin worked in assembly at the company for about 15 years.

He was convicted of stabbing a woman in Mississippi in 1994.

On February 15, 2019, was identified as the gunman who opened fire at Henry Pratt Co. in which four police officers were wounded and at least fiver others were killed.

He was killed in a shootout with police.

The four Aurora police officers were in stable condition.

Martin's mother stated to local media that he had been laid off two weeks ago and was stressed out before the incident.

Authorities received a call for shots fired at around 1:24 p.m. local time.

At 1:28 p.m., officers were fired upon immediately and 2 of the 4 officers who entered at first were shot.
