Politico
Debenedetti spent three years as a national political reporter at Politico. There, he covered Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders, and the Democratic Party during the 2016 U.S. presidential election. Afterwards, he wrote about national politics in the age of Donald Trump and events leading to the elections in 2017 and 2020.
New York Magazine
On April 2, 2018, Gabriel Debenedetti joined as a contributor to their News & Politics vertical Daily Intelligencer. He also writes features for their print magazine. New York Magazine editor-in-chief Adam Moss said in his announcement:
