G. Garvin (chef)
Gerry Garvin (born December 7, 1976) is an acclaimed chef, author, television host, and philanthropist. He is best known by the name Chef G. Garvin.[15]
Career
He moved to Palm Springs, California to open the Ritz Carlton-Rancho Mirage, where he worked under chef Jean Pierre Dubray. He then relocated to Los Angeles, California and took on a position as Sous Chef at Noa Noa. After spending 3 years there, chef G. Garvin then headed to the Four Seasons, Beverly Hills. He went on to become the Executive Chef of Morton's and Kass Bah. [5]

Television
For seven seasons, Garvin hosted his own show on the TV One network called Turn Up the Heat with G. Garvin which aired in the United States and Brazil. The first episode premiered in September of 2004. Success from the show would lead to another television Venture on the same network titled G. Garvin: The Road Tour.
Food Network also gave G. Garvin a show titled Road Trip with G. Garvin in 2012.
Since then Garvin has made many appearances on multiple television shows including Good Morning America and Guy's Grocery Games
Garvin was recently seen on Guy Fieri's show Guy's Ranch Kitchen in October of 2019.
