Pouliot received a Bachelor of Science in International/Global Studies from the Université de Montréal in 2011. He earned an MA in Public Policy, First Degree with Distinction from King's College London, University of London in 2012.
Pouliot became a full-time entrepreneur researcher and industry spokesperson in Bitcoin. He has served a number of positions including Chief Executive Officer of Bitcoin Foundation Canada and the Director of Public Affairs of The Bitcoin Embassy. He is the Co-Founder of Keystamp, an open-source standard and API for transforming data and communications into irrefutable cryptographic proofs and co-founded Catallaxy, a blockchain expertise and R&D center. He is an Associate Researcher at the Montreal Economic Institute, Fintech advisor at the Ontario Securities Commission, and is part of the Independent Advisory Committee for 3iQ Corp. Pouliot is the CEO of Bull Bitcoin, a Bitcoin payment and exchanges service for Canada.
