Florentino Primera Mussett (Born August 31, 1981) Caracas Venezuela, Venezuelan singer and actor, son of Falconian singer-songwriter Alí Rafael Primera, and Portuguese school teacher Sol Mussett, is one of the four children of Alí Primera with his wife Sol Musset (Servando, Florentino, Juan Simón and Sandino Primera) and half brother of the singer's two daughters and a previous son (María Fernanda, María Angela and Alí Rafael Vázquez), was one of the most popular artists in Venezuela during the 1990s and the first decade of the 21st century.

Together with his brother Servando he was part of the group Salserín and is the main vocalist of the duo Servando y Florentino.

Florentino Primera lives in Miami with his girlfriend María Fernanda Sandoval and his children Diego Rafael (born September 11, 2006) and Rodrigo Andrés (born November 18, 2008).

Florentino Primera Mussett started his career as a professional musician in 1992 after being chosen by Manuel Guerra as the lead singer of the Salserín children's orchestra together with his brother Servando.

The success of this group made them youth stars throughout Latin America and led to the starring role in youth series such as De sol a sol and Yo sin ti.

In 1996 he starred alongside Salserín in the film La primera vez, which was a box office success in Latin America.

In 1996 he was retired with his brother from Salserín motivated by internal laws of the group, then he was signed by the WEA Internacional label as part of the salsa-pop duo Servando y Florentino.

The group's debut album (mostly composed by Ricardo Montaner and produced by their record label, Hecho a mano) was a bestseller that produced the singles Una fan enamorada and Alíviame.

The latter was the subject of the telenovela Todo por tu amor, in which he acted alongside Jeannette Rodríguez and Jean Carlo Simancas.

Despite the success of the previous albums, the group's popularity declined rapidly and the next album (Step by Step, 2000) was a sales flop.

Most of the songs on the album were written by Servando and the corian Yasmil Marrufo.

Handmade ended the relationship with the brothers in 2001 and WEA ended its contractual relationship with the release of a greatest hits album.

After half a decade away from the recording studios, in 2006 the duo reappeared with the album Servando y Florentino, produced by Venevisión and Universal Music Latin Entertainment. Composed again by Marrufo and Servando, the album was a surprise success that led to them being nominated for a Grammy Award for best pop album.
