Farhang Foundation is an organization dedicated to celebrating Iranian art, culture and history for the benefit of the community at large.

^[2]They were founded in Los Angeles, California in 2008 and have since engaged with a growing number of supporters throughout southern California, and in various parts of the world.

The organization is a non-religious, non-political, and not-for-profit foundation.

The foundation works in three ways to achieve its goals in Southern California:1) By funding university programs, publications and academic conferences.2) By sponsoring local cultural events such as NoRooz and Mehregan, Iranian plays, dances, films, and poetry readings.3) By planning and funding exhibitions with local cultural and / or academic institutions, such as LACMA, UCI, USC and UCLA.
