Evelyn Yang

Evelyn Yang (born Evelyn Lu, October 31, 1981), is the wife of Democratic presidential candidate Andrew Yang (entrepreneur). [1] [3]

Early Life & Education

Evelyn attended Columbia University, where she would later meet her future husband Andrew Yang. [1]

Her career in higher education included international studies. She traveled to Shanghai when she was a student at Columbia. [1]

Career

Evelyn was a marketing executive at L'Oreal. She later reportedly decided to become a housewife.

Relationship with Andrew Yang

Evelyn and Andrew Yang first met on the campus of Columbia University. Andrew was working at the test preparation company Manhattan GMAT. [3]

The Yangs are interested in raising teaching their children about history and politics, in a way they can understand at their age. In an Instagram post, Andrew shared photos of his family at the Lincoln Memorial. "We told the boys, 'he was the best President because he got everyone to stop fighting,'" he wrote in a caption. [4]

Personal Life

She currently lives in New York City with her children and Andrew Yang. [1]
