Evelyn Miralles born in 1967 is a Virtual Reality innovator who has made an impact with her work at NASA ^[1] with astronaut training.

Miralles was raised in Caracas, Venezuela as the youngest child of five. Her father always challenged her and her siblings to work hard in order to achieve their goals. She looked up to her eldest brother, a studious mathematician, and two of her other siblings who went on to pursue engineering. At a young age Miralles acknowledged her heart for engineering and problem solving, and this strong familial foundation gave her the perfect springboard into her future career.
