Esther Perbandt

Esther Perbandt (born on April 15th, 1975) is a German fashion designer who was born and raised in Berlin, toughened in Moscow and polished in Paris. She founded the fashion brand of the same name in 2004.

Early life

Esther grew up in Berlin. She studied and obtained her European master's degree in fashion and textile design from the Institut Français de la Mode in Berlin.

She designed the work uniforms for the Komische Oper in Berlin.

She works with artists from various fields of music, film, and photography, such as Rammstein, Till Lindemann, Sven Marquardt, Sven Helbig and Zoran Bihać. Esther Perbandt gained through her fashion show on 18th January 2017, the Volksbühne Berlin .

Career

Running her signature label for 13 years, Esther Perbandt has proven herself a staying power on national and international markets. Her designs are distinctive, idiosyncratic and a hundred percent authentic.

Fashion shows

In 2010, Esther Perbandt did a show at the opening of the Chinese Fashion Week in Beijing. Thereafter in 2012, she did another show at the Toronto Fashion Week. After many exploits in fashion in the previous year, in 2013 she did a show at the Singapore Fashion Week where gained a lot of recognition for her individuality. Also in 2014, Esther Perbandt did a Show at Volksbühne Berlin for Berlin Fashion Week exploring the real sense of fashion. In 2016, she worked with various artists to show-case at Los Angeles Fashion Week and after in 2017, she presented a Show at Volksbühne for Berlin Fashion Week.

Awards

In 2008, she earned a Nomination for the New Generation Award (Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin). Esther Perbandt also received a Nomination for the Bunte New Faces Award in 2009. In 2010, she earned a nomination for the Usedom Baltic Fashion Award; Spectator award. In 2018, she was awarded for the Worth Partnership Project by the European Commission (COSME, European Union Program for SME Competitiveness). [1][2][3][4]
