Erin Gloria Ryan (born July 26, 1983) ^[16] is an American Writer and Editor based in New York City. She is a Senior Editor at the Daily Beast and a contributor to CNN. ^{[9] [3] [2]}

Erin Gloria Ryan grew up in Frederic, Wisconsin. ^{[2] [3]} She earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A) in English at University of Notre Dame. She graduated from the University in 2005. ^{[3] [2]}

Post-college, Erin moved to Chicago where she served a year as an AmeriCorps VISTA at the University of Chicago’s Neighborhood Schools Program. She was hired as a Staff writer at the Website Jezebel in 2011, and in 2012, she moved to New York City to pursue her Writing Career.^[17]

Before joining The Daily Beast in October 2016, Ryan was a Deputy Editor at Vocativ from 2015 to September 2016. ^[3] She has also written, managed, and edited for Gawker Media. ^{[3] [9] [2]}

Ryan was a host of GirlFridayCast, a podcast for and by women in Media from CafeDotCom. ^[8]

She appeared as an on-air Contributor to CNN. She was a prominent voice of the Me Too movement. ^[16]

Currently, Erin is a host of Hysteria from Crooked Media and writer for SunnyFXX and The Daily Beast.^[1]
