Emily Weiss is an American Entrepreneur and Blogger who is now the current CEO of Glossier. She is considered a cult figure for her blog, Into The Gloss.
Biography
Early Life
Raised in Connecticut, she had been into fashion since a very young age. At the age of 10 years old she attended what was deemed a Conservative public middle school at the age of 10 years old.
Education
Her interest and ambitions in fashion led her to move to New York City where she attended New York University where she studied Studio art. [1]
Career

During her time at NYU, she interned at Teen Vogue where she worked in different areas including as an assistant in the wardrobe department. She was also a fashion assistant for Condé Nast.
She also worked for W Magazine. Eventually, she became the assistant to Elissa Santisi, a style director at American Vogue who subsequently became a freelance stylist, for two and a half years.
Into The Gloss
Some time after being a fashion stylist for Conde Nast and also working on other projects, she started a blog in 2010 called Into The Gloss. The blog has since expanded into an online portal of its own with the latest information about the fashion world. They cover the latest trend topics and interview an array of figures spanning several industries about their fashion choices. [1]
