On February 5, 2017, Emily was killed in a jet ski accident while on vacation in Phuket City, Thailand with her partner Tommy Lyon Keating.
Her rented jet-ski collided with Tommy's at high speed.
She suffered severe neck and shoulder injuries, while Tommy only had minor injuries.
Lifeguards pulled Emily from the water and, with her partner, tried to revive her on the beach. She was taken by ambulance to Chalong Hospital at 5:00 p.m. She was pronounced dead on arrival.
