Elly Bailey (better known as Elly Awesome, on January 19, 1993) ^[1] is an Australian YouTuber, TV presenter, and author. She currently co-hosts the TV show Toasted TV with Ollie McCormack.

Growing up, Elly wanted to be a TV presenter. However, she did not have any work experience in the industry whatsoever. She decided to make her own show using YouTube while she was in school.

She eventually earned her degree as a dental technician.

After finishing school, Elly Awesome started making dentures for a living; she worked from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. She recalls coming home after work, bringing her dinner r into her room, and working on her YouTube videos. She could remember listening to her family laughing watching television while she would be in her room creating her videos.

Elly started making YouTube videos in 2010, after she started watching videos in 2007.

She made videos about apps and gaming, hence her original channel title AppChat.

Her most viewed videos became her "Taste Test" videos.

She publishes food tasting, lifestyle blogs, app reviews,technology/gadget reviews and skits to her channel. She was chosen by YouTube as a "Next Up Vlogger" in 2013.

She then became the host of CBBC's Technobabble.

In October 2016, Elly became the co-host of Toasted TV with Ollie McCormack; she replaced Jono Symons.

She grew up with a sister. She and fellow Australian web star Jackson Brazier were both born in 1993.
