Elliot Tebele is Founder of FuckJerry, an Instagram account and meme aggregator that has nearly 10 million followers.

Early Life

Tebele was born on February 25, 1991 to a Syrian Orthodox Jewish family and was the third of five children. He grew up in Gravesend, Brooklyn and graduated from York Preparatory School in Manhattan.

Career as FuckJerry

After attending Hunter College for two years, he dropped out of school and started selling cell phones wholesale with his brother. He did not like his job at all and in his free time starting in April of 2011 post vintage Michael Jordan pictures on his Tumblr, FuckJerry. His love of Seinfeld is the inspiration for the name. Tebele gradually shifted to humor and started gaining traction. His first famous follower was Calvin Harris and in the following years other celebrities such as Kim Kardashian, Tony Hawk, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Joe Jonas, Blake Griffin, and Madonna.

Personal

Tebele credits his success to his "hustler" mentality and having the formula of highly relatable content that is both funny and socially infectious.

Tebele and his wife Jessica were married in October of 2015 and are considered the power couple of Instagram.
