Elizabeth "Liz" Plank is a journalist and producer in new media who is currently at Vox.

Career

Liż Plank is currently a Senior Producer at Vox where she hosts a show around the election called 2016ish where she has interviewed important figures like Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau.

Previously, Liz was the Senior Editor at Mic and the host of Flip The Script. She was also a correspondent for MSNBC's web show Krystal Clear.

In 2015, Liz was named one of Forbes 30 Under 30 in media. Liz's writing has featured in the The New York Times, Al-Jazeera International, Huffington Post, The Daily Beast, NPR, AlterNet, Think Progress, Jezebel, Feministing, MTV and on MSNBC. She's also made television appearances on MSNBC, The Today Show, Al-Jazeera America, Fox News Channel, ABC Fusion, CTV News and BBC World News.

Liz created many viral campaigns such as #AllMenCan and #WithoutTheWageGapIWould.

In her journalism Liz offers original outlook on the world’s most unoriginal problems, her specialties include gender advocacy, millennial issues, policy analysis and social media strategy. Before working in media, Liz was a research assistant and behavioral sciences consultant at the London School of Economics. She also built a loyal following through her viral campaign for Change.org and her writing for the Huffington Post.

Education

Liz graduated from the London School of Economics in 2012 with a Master's degree in Social Policy and Gender Studies with high merit. She was a finalist in the school's Behavioural Public Policy Proposal Competition. [1]

Liz graduated from McGill University with a Bachelor's degree in Women's Studies & International Development in 2010. She did an exchange at the University of Copenhagen, studying in the Faculty of African Studies and Gender Studies. [1]
