Elina Shirazi (born September 4, 1994) is an Iranian-American reporter. She currently works for Fox News Channel based in Miami, Florida.
Early Life & Education
Elina Shirazi was born and raised in Virginia. Her family moved there before she was born to flee the Iranian Revolution.
Shirazi graduated from American University; she majored in broadcast journalism and minored in Business. She also won the National Student Journalist's award from NPR.
While in college, she was a member of the Alpha Chi Omega sorority, which focuses on domestic violence awareness as their philanthropy.
Career
Elina is one of the first Iranian-American women at Fox News channel.
Previously, Elina worked for WHAG-TV /WUSA-TV as a reporter/anchor. She has covered numerous stories on Politics and Business in Florida. Before that, she worked in production for Special Report and Fox Business Network.
She has also contributed to both Elite Daily and USA Today.
