Elettra Lamborghini
Elettra Lamborghini
Elettra Miura Lamborghini (born 17/05/1994) is an Italian singer, model, television personality and influencer. She became known on the MTV series Super Shore. She went on to join the cast of MTV's Spanish version of Geordie Shore.
After gaining initial attention participating on reality shows, she released her debut single "Pem Pem" in early 2018.
She subsequently released her debut studio album Twerking Queen in the summer of 2019.
She served as a judge for the sixth season of The Voice of Italy in 2019, and in 2020 is set to participate as a coach in the seventh season as well. Her music videos to "Pem Pem" and "Mala" have amassed millions of views on YouTube. Before becoming a television personality, she competed regionally and nationally in horseback riding. She became a social media star through her risqué photos, with over 5 million followers and growing. She has also graced the cover of Playboy Italia.
Aside from having probably the swankiest name EVER, 22-year-old Elettra has also been dubbed 'The Italian Killer'.
Which is unique.
She has said it was "because I fight with everyone".
So, we're expecting explosive things from her in the upcoming series of Geordie Shore.
She's something of a social media star in Italy and has been labelled the 'Italian Paris Hilton'.
Her father, Tonino, is a businessman and her grandfather is Ferruccio Lamborghini, the founder of the worldwide luxury car brand.
In late 2019, she got engaged to DJ Afrojack.
She collaborated with Pitbull on her 2019 song "Tócame."
Career
She gained notoriety for appearing in a number of international reality shows such as Gran Hermano VIP 6 and the MTV shows Super Shore and Geordie Shore.
Her debut single "Pem Pem" was released in February 2018 and reached number six on the Italian charts. She released her first album Twerking Queen on 14 June 2019. In the same year she appeared as a music coach and judge on the sixth edition of The Voice of Italy.
Though reality TV has turned out to be quite the lucrative platform for the green-eyed brunette, Lamborghini has her eyes set on a singing career and recently signed a record deal with a - thus far undisclosed - US-based record label.
Elettra, who spends most of her time between Milan and her hometown Bologna will relocate to Miami mid-August, to work on her debut album. She said “My main focus right now is singing, and the album will be a combination of reggaeton, Hip hop and trap. I don’t want to do reality TV forever. I feel like I’ve given most of myself already in that department. I got into the entertainment industry after Super Shore contacted me to be a part of the show. I thought of it as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, but my parents weren’t really convinced. They thought of the entertainment industry as a dangerous place, and were suspicious that people would take advantage of me. Now they have a clearer understanding of how things work behind the scenes and I have their full support.”
In the US, the Lamborghini heiress is yet to make a name for herself.
Meanwhile, in Italy, her name is often paired with controversy. There was the interview with Italian news outlet Libero Quotidiano in which she stated to have lost count regarding the number of Lamborghinis in her possession. In addition, there was her 2016 MTV Europe Music Awards see-through bodysuit red carpet moment, followed up by an endless stream of provocative photo shoots.
Lamborghini participated at the Sanremo Music Festival 2020 with the song "Musica (e il resto scompare)".
Personal Life
She is the granddaughter of Ferruccio Lamborghini, founder of the sports car manufacturer Lamborghini.
Since 25 December 2019, she has been engaged to DJ and producer Afrojack.
