Elaine Ou is a founder of Opensmut, collaborative webcomic creation. [7]
Previously, she was a block chain engineer at Global Financial Access, a financial technology company, based in San Francisco. [3]
Career
From January, 2010-2012 Elaine was a Lecturer and Co-director of Computer Engineering Lab at the University of Sydney. There she led the development of embedded systems for low-latency interfaces with the Australian stock exchange. [5]
Prior to that, in 2004-2009, she worked as a Meeting Attendee at Aurora Finance, developing software trading systems using statistical arbitrage.
Education
In 2005-2010 Elaine studied at Stanford University and graduated with PhD in Electrical engineering, Management science and Engineering. [5]While studying, she was a part of Stanford Triathlon team. [5]
Previously, in 2003-2005, she graduated with Master of Science degree in Computer science from Harvard University. [5]
Between 1999-2003, Elaine studied at California Institute of Technology and received Bachelor of Science in Electrical engineering. [5]In addition, she was a Captain of the Caltech Flying Team (2001—2003). [5]
