El Alfa El Jefe (born December 18, 1990) is a Rapping from Dominican Republic. He is also known simply as El Alfa. He is regarded by many as one of the most influential artist in his country. His standout songs include, Sientate En Ese Deo, Suave, La Pegajosa, among others. Over the years, his YouTube channel has received over 1.5 billion views.

El Alfa El Jefe whose real name Emanuel Herrera Batista, he was born on December 18, 1990 in Haina, Santo Domingo, DR. He grew up in a decent and respectful household. From an early age, El Alfa took priority in taking care of his appearance. At age 17, he moved out of his parent household and began pursing music seriously.

El Alfa has been rapping for over 11 years. Some of his earliest hits include, Muevete Jevi, Tarzan, and Coche Bomba. He has collaborated with a lot of prominent artists and toured various countries. He appeared at Madison Square Garden, and he has performed on some of the biggest stages in the world.

In 2015, El Alfa embarked on a massive tour throughout the United States. Performing at over 30 venues, he serenaded the crowd with hit singles. Popular songs like, Jalao, Calimete, and Como Yo Me Muevo, stole the show. In the coming years, El Alfa released multiple solo projects and collabs. To name a few, he worked with Farruko, The Musicologist, Bad Bunny, Annuel AA, Bryant Myers, and so on.

In 2017, after 10yrs, he released his debut album, Disciplina. The 8-track project also featured various artists. In what might seem a mid-cycle refresh, El Alfa decided to produce more romantic songs as they were more acceptable and do not have any type of censorship.

El Alfa collaborated with Cardi B on single, Mi Mami.

Released in November 2018, the track has received over 8 million views on YouTube in less than a week.

In 2020, he collaborated with Justin Quiles and Daddy Yankee to release a single titled Pam, which is a vibrant track that interlaces Puerto Rico’s reggaeton and the Dominican Republic’s dembow.^[14][15][1]

El Alfa is married to Alba Rosa and the marriage has been blessed with two children.

He is known to be a philanthropist and he has done charity work for Dominican youth, helping to deliver toys, school supplies, and sports equipment for needy children in the area.

El Alfa already has an ever-growing fanbase which his eminent in the large amount of followers he has garnered over the years.
