Ekta Methai (born March 6,1995) is an Indian actress, who predominantly works in Hindi TV series. She is best known for Pavitra Bandhan (2018), Swaragini - Jodein Rishton Ke Sur (2015) and Pyaar ke Papad (2019). ^[1]

Ekta was born and brought up in Mumbai, India.There is not much information available about her school and college education, but she holds a Bachelor's degree.^[2]

Ekta started her career in 2012.

She acted in minor roles as a young teenager in Star Plus’s crime-drama series “Savdhaan India” (2012). She continued to do cameo roles in TV serials. She rose to fame playing character of 'Uttara Maheshwari' in the first season of Indian soap opera “Swaragini - Jodein Rishton Ke Sur” in 2015. It was aired on Colors TV. She also appeared in family drama series “Taregani” in 2016 which was televised on DD National. Her popularity reached a peak with her performance in Balaji Telefilms's “Pavitra Bandhan" in 2018. In 2018, she made her Bollywood debut in the film “Ramnagar UP 65". She acted in Pyar ka Papad in 2019-20 which airs on Star Bharat.^[2][3]
