His interest in the art of Music producing came some time after moving to Canada. After getting a smartphone, he began to experiment with music editing tools and software. As he
says: “I downloaded Garageband and started to just play around... I wasn’t taking anything seriously but I started to make songs.”
He would share some of the tunes that he was creating with his peers who would also use the songs as their soundtrack to their lunchtime rap battles.
His great and interest continued to grow and and would soon upgrade to FL Studio to play with sound opportunities.
WondaGurl
As he stayed in touch with the wave of music trends specifically near the summer of 2013, he took notice of a talented young producer who goes by the name of WondaGurl. At the time she had produced the song "Crown" by Jay Z on his album, Magna Carta Holy Grail . Bryan contacted her via Twitter as he impressed with her work and she responded. The two then became frequent collaborators.
By the time WondaGurl singed Bryan to her label, he had by then built a following around his stage name, Eestbound. He is the first artist to have been signed to her label imprint.
"Antidote"

WundaGurl and Eestbound were going through some songs that they had discovered.
One of the songs that they were listening to was Lee Fields' song called, "All I Need", from his album, Emma Jean. They were not initially sparked by the song at the beginning when the guitar riff opens the song. When the song enters the breakdown just moments when the trumpets crescendo, the guitar riff returns in a different pace - WondaGurl and Eestbound looked at each other and were convinced they had to sample that part.
People believe that WondaGurl is the sole producer of the song.
In fact, it was Eestbound who wanted to sample the guitar riff the way it sounded in the breakdown of the Lee Fields' song.
WondaGurl chopped up and sampled another part of the song.
Eastbound used the guitar sample and pitched it up and added layers of reverb, EQ, and delays.
He also sped up the guitar a bit.
He created the song in a mobile truck studio.
He completed a succinct track ready to be sent around for Rappers that WonderGurl &
Eestbound have connections to.
One of the rappers they sent the song to is Travis $cott. About a week after he had made the finishing touches and immediately sent out, Eestbound was checking Instagram and saw that Cardogotwings shared a video from a $cott concert he attended and heard a song in the background that sounded familiar. Eestbound knew that it was his track, and when he got home later that night it was confirmed after he saw a video of $cott premiering it at a concert. They had no idea that $cott was going to use it.
His take on the song Antidote:
“Honestly, the beat for ‘Antidote’ was just another beat that I made like the other day or whatever... I never expected it to be that big.
It was kind of a shock, but it was a really dope moment for me in my life because lot of people started taking me more serious, which is what everyone would like, having more recognition, having a little more respect.
I feel like it definitely opened doors for me.
I feel like ‘ Antidote’ was kind of a taste of what it could be like and I wanna just keep on making more dope music and doing greater things than that.”
$cott would go on to contact WondaGurl and Eestbound once the song blew up.
The song has since gone multi-platinum and Eestbound has earned the respect from the Music industry.
