Ed Schilling is Assistant Coach of the Indiana Hoosiers basketball team. Schilling hails originally from Lebanon, Indiana.
Career
Schilling is a former NBA coach with the New Jersey Nets and former coach of Park Tudor School. He was replaced at Park Tudor by Kyle Cox, who has been arrested for child pornography.
Prior to joining the Hoosiers, Schilling was a coach for UCLA basketball, which he joined in 2013.
Personal Life
Schilling's grandfather, Walter Cross, won the prestigious Gimbel Award (later named the Trester Mental Attitude Award) in 1919 as a senior on Thorntown's basketball team.
Schilling’s father, Ed Schilling Sr., was an Ohio native but played at Butler University and coached at then-Marian College (now University) in the 1970s.
