e-dubble

e-dubble is an honest, independent artist; with a cognitive, lyrical style of awareness and progressive instrumental sound.

Gaining popularity through his "Freestyle Friday," where he released a song every Friday for 54 consecutive weeks.

This led to e-dubble's debut album "Hip-Hop is Good," which was completely written, recorded and produced by e-dubble over the course of a year.

"Hip-hop is Good" stands as a statement, a title, nay… a fact.

30 years of hip-hop, 30 years of innovation.

This album explores rap music from the eyes of a generation who have seen hip-hop saddled with such labels as gangster, underground, conscious and pop. With lyrics about struggle and happiness shows "Hip-hop is Good" has something for everyone.

Most recently e-dubble dropped his EP "Reset," which topped the iTunes charts as the #8 most downloaded hip-hop album.

In addition, it debuted on two Billboard charts.

According to e-dub, Reset reminds us that "At some point, everyone wishes for a clean slate.

A chance to start over, to be absolved of regret, to put hindsight and wisdom to good use.

Things aren’t in black and white, there are many shades of grey.

Things are not absolute.

For every right and wrong there exists an extenuating circumstance to shift your judgment.

Ultimately to open up our minds to new possibilities, we have to ‘Reset.'" Famous across several different social media platforms, this successful hip-hop artist and music producer has accumulated over 350,000 YouTube subscribers.

His most popular videos include "Sidelines," "Be A King," and "Changed My Mind," and his iTunes album releases include Reset (2012) and Surrounded by Giants (2014).

After studying political science at St. Mary's College of Maryland, he recorded his debut album, Hip-Hop Is Good, in 2009.

The following year, he launched his popular YouTube channel.

On YouTube, he is particularly well known for his "Freestyle Friday" series of rap videos.

Born Evan Wallace, he spent his youth near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and later relocated to Baltimore, Maryland.

He has two sisters named Suzanne and Jenn.

He and the French hip-hop artist Swagg Man both rose to fame on YouTube.
