Dylan Mamid

Dylan Mamid, better known as DC, is a Canadian Electronic Music Producer and DJ based in Toronto. He is one half of the Electronic Music duo, Zeds Dead.

Mamid first met Zachary Rapp-Rovan in 2004 through mutual friends. He asked Rapp-Rovan to paint a graffiti mural in his garage where people would congregate. After hanging out on several occasions, they bonded over their love for classic hip-hop and passion for production. In 2007, they released their first project together under the name Mass Productions. The album was heavily influenced by 90s hip-hop.

In 2009, the duo started experimenting creating electronic music under the name Zeds Dead which was taken from a quote in the Quentin Tarantino movie Pulp Fiction.
