Duska Jurisic (Bosnian: Duška Jurišić) is a journalist and an editor based in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Early Life and Education

Duska was born on November 1, 1965.
in Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. She finished high school in her home town. In 1989., she graduated from University of Sarajevo Faculty of Law
The school year of 1996./97.
she spent in the USA on a journalist specialization, as a part of a scholarship of United States Information Agency and Voice of America. During this time period she attended State University of New York and State University of New Jersey Rutgers.
Duska is one of the initiators of a cooperation that happened between The University of Sarajevo Faculty of Law and Rutgers School of Communication and Information.

She started her career in 1986.
as a reporter, host and editor of informative shows on Radio Sarajevo 202 where she stayed till 1992.
The war year of 1992.
she spent as a reporter on the Radio of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Beginning of 1993.
she started working on hosting and editing news on the radio, by herself.
Later on, she starts her career at TV of Bosnia and Herzegovina, where she works as a reporter, host and editor of central information show Dnevnik.
Jurisic worked as an editor and host of informative shows on OBN from 1998.
she worked as a coordinator for the Office of public relations of Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
On May 1, 2002. she started working at the Public radio-tv service of Bosnia and Herzegovina, where she was an editor and host of the show "Pošteno govoreći".
Since May 1, 2007.
she has been working at Radio-televizija FBiH where she hosts her own weekly show "Pošteno".
On the show, she hosts different political structures and talks about leading problems in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
In April of 2008. she was appointed to the position of the main and responsible editor of informative shows Federalna televizija, but she was demoted only 21 months later.

Duska is married to Boris Jurisic and has a daughter, Isidora.
She currently lives in her hometown, Sarajevo.
In 2015. she sued the editors and journalists of "Dnevni avaz" newspapers because of false claims of corruption and working with political figures. The attacks were even aimed at her under-aged daughter. The court came to a conclusion that Jurisic's "honor and reputation" were damaged and Dnevni Avaz was charged with a fine of 5,000 KM (convertible marks). Due to the financial situation of the company, they were only able to pay out 1,000 KM of the fine, even thought Jurisic had to pay 1,200 KM to cover the expenses of the trial. [undefined]
