Dozi (born Hendrik Opperman on March 23, 1964) is a South African singer who is known across cultural boundaries for his Afrikaans, English and Zulu language performances. Some of his hits include Old Riding Horse (a re-recording), Between You and Me, Just Stand A Little Quiet and Maybe My Baby.

Dozi was born in Hluhluwe in KwaZulu-Natal and started singing at an early age. In 1999, his first album, "Mercy" was released. The album was recorded in Zulu. His second album, "On Request", is released in 2001 in Afrikaans. ^[1]
