Douglas Adam Boneparth is a Certified Financial Planner best known as a personal finance expert in the media and for servicing high net worth Millennials. Boneparth is independent financial advisor of his own firm, Bone Fide Wealth, LLC, which manages USD 75 million in assets across 115 households as of March 2018. [1]
Early Life and Education
Boneparth was raised in Boca Raton, Florida and is the son of Andrew Boneparth, himself an independent Certified Financial Planner with Ameriprise, and Ellen Boneparth, a elementary school teacher. Boneparth graduated in 2007 with a BS in Public Relations from the University of Florida and obtained an MBA from the New York University Stern School of Business in 2014. Boneparth became one of the youngest Certified Financial Planners (CFP®) at age 25 and is also an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®). [1]
Career
Boneparth began working at his father's financial advisory practice during college, and at age 24, in the midst of the Financial crisis of 2007–08, relocated to New York, NY where he continued to work for an Ameriprise practice while building his own book of business. It was after he enrolled in business school that Boneparth decided to strike out on his own and focus on servicing Millennials, first as a Partner at Longwave Financial and then as President of Bone Fide Wealth, LLC, which he founded in late 2016. Boneparth has also mined and owned Bitcoin since 2014.

Along with his wife, Heather, Boneparth is co-author of The Millenial Money Fix (Career Press, 2017).
