Dorothy Sewell was a fan of the Toronto Bluejays Major League Baseball team. Her grandson, Elwood Delaney, said his grandmother inspired his lifelong love of sports. [1]
Death
On Monday, April 23, 2018, Dorothy Sewell was one of the ten people killed in the 2018 Toronto Van Crash Attack allegedly committed by Alek Minassian. Fifteen others were injured.
Sewell's grandson Elwood Delaney confirmed her death to CBC News on Tuesday, April 24, 2018.
