In April 2016, Dorothy gained internet fame for posting a picture of her sleeping with Swae Lee, one-half of Rae Sremmurd. She posted it in Overheard@Barnard, as well as her Instagram and Twitter, and was hailed as a "hero" by Columbia University gossip blog Bwog.
Many people were inquiring about her two Black eyes after she posted the photo, but she confirmed that she had simply fallen from her Skateboard.
Both parties were content with the photo being released online.
She had posted a selfie which was inviting Swae Lee to sleep with her again.
