Donald Reisinger (November 5, 1950-February 26, 2019) was a retired salesman, father, and husband from New York . His son, Don Reisinger, wrote an article about him for Fortune magazine, it was titled "I Thought I Understood Facebook. Then My Dad Died". 
Donald was born in Schenectady, New York. He grew up in Princeton and excelled in athletics, playing varsity football and baseball. He went to college at Rider University in New Jersey and worked for Instantwhip Eastern NY for several years. 
Donald met the love of his life, Gloria Cuomo, whom he married on September 24,1983. They later had a son, Don Reisinger. His friends and relatives fondly remember his outstanding sense of humor and quick wit. Donald was a talented photographer who has taken many family photos that are treasured and framed. He was also known as a huge fan of the New York Yankees. 
In his later years Donald spent a lot of time on Facebook connecting with long lost relatives, discussing local history, and sparring about politics. He was an amateur local historian, and enjoyed helping people from around the U.S. find pictures and information on long-closed restaurants, stores, and relics of days long gone. 
Don passed away on February 26, 2019 in his home.
