Dionte Gray (born 03/11/1995) is a celebrity hairstylist.
Biography
Dionte was born and raised on the south side of Chicago. [1] He grew up in a salon watching the his mom, aunt, and cousins styling hair.
Career
He started out doing hair for his classmates, his family, his friends, and his mother's friend's children.
When he graduated high school, he enrolled in classes at the Paul Mitchell School to expand his creativity.
When he finished classes at the Paul Mitchell School, he started working at his first salon in downtown Chicago. After only a year, he started to gain buzz around the city. He was very dedicated and worked long days in the salon.
His first celebrity client was Porsha Williams from The Real Housewives of Atlanta. She posted on Instagram that she was in the city and needed a hairstylist, and a flood of people tagged Dionte's page. Her manager called and booked his services that night. He is thankful to social media for helping him reach the success he has today.
Dionte moved to Atlanta a couple months later and was able to build a new client base thanks to the helps of his family and friends.
As his brand grew, he started working with more celebrities and Instagram Star s. He has designed wigs for Teyana Taylor, Keyshia Dior Watson (Keyshia Ka'oir), Ariana Fletcher, Jayda Ayanna Cheaves, Tabatha Robinson (Dream Doll), Nicki Minaj, and Kim Kardashian.
He now has his own brand called The Flawless Experience where you can book appointments and buy frontals, closures, bundles, and wigs.
Awards
He won Wig Master of the Year at the BB Icon Awards.
