Didintle Khunou is from South Africa. She is a voice artist, MC, actress, singer and presenter. She is fondly remembered as the actress who acted the role of Celie in a Johannesburg theatre production titled “The Color Purple Musical”, produced by Janice Honeyman.

Didintle is a recipient of the Naledi award as well as Broadway World Online Award in the 'Best Lead Actress In a Musical' category for her role as Celie “The Color Purple Musical”.

Didintle holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors from the Wits School of Arts.

She studied Dramatic Arts. She went on to take acting classes at ActorWize professional acting academy for film and television under the tutorage of renowned actor Rajesh Gopie. Again, she took acting courses at Indigo View Advanced Actors Academy founded by Steven Feinstein .^[4]

Didintle recognized her desire for performing arts when she was just 16 years old after she took part in a school drama.

This prompted her to pursue a career in that field.

She made her first television appearance on the set of SABC 2 drama series titled “Mamello” in August, 2016, where she interpreted the role of Modiehi. She again played the same role in 2017 during the series’ third season.

Didintle has had acting appearances in other films such as “Single Galz” an SABC 1 production, “The Throne” a telenovela by Mzansi Magic, “#Karektas” a Desmond Dube production, “Isono: The Sin” a BET Africa telenovela, and “The Perfect Makoti” an Mzansi Movie where she acted together with Zikhona Bali.
