Devin Price was a 17 year-old from Cleveland, Ohio who fell victim to a fatal shooting at an elementary school playground.

He was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. ^[6]

His friends and family remember him for being a Laconic personality and a sense of humor people could relate to, especially his closes homies. He was very close with his friends and often played basketball together. ^[12]

He loved playing the game of Basketball ever since he was a child and developed his skills and expanded his game to great heights by the time he was in high school. ^[0]

The girls at his school - many thought he was a handsome young man, with one girl admitting he would be her MCM, and making other girls jealous.

On February 19th, 2017, at around 6:00 p.m., Devin and his friends congregated on the playground at Andrew J. Rickoff Elementary School, on East 147th Street, in the south of Kinsman Road in the city's Mount Pleasant neighborhood.

The juveniles were playing some BBall outside of the school when a couple of guys who were up to no good - started making trouble in the neighborhood.

A light-colored Sedan pulled up to the school at the location where the teens were, and two suspects in their early 20s got out of the car.

One of them pointed a handgun at Price and fired several shots, and then they returned to the car and drove off.

Devin Price, 17, of Cleveland, died at University Hospitals, according to the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office.

Price was shot multiple times in the torso, police say.

According to Khalid Samad of Peace in the Hood, Devin Price will be remembered on Wednesday night at 6 p.m. at AJ Rickoff Elementary School, the same place where he was gunned down.

The gathering is expected to begin at 5:30 p.m. prior to the vigil.
