Devin France (born 13th September 2008) is an American child actress. She rose to fame after starring in the 2020 film “Wendy”.

Devin France is a student at Lockport Middle school.

On November 9, 2019, Lockport Middle School posted on their Facebook page saying “Lockport’s very own Devin France is a movie star”.

Devin France begin her career when she featured in “Wendy” as the title character. The young actress wasn’t looking to be in a movie, much less play the leading role, but after Zietlin saw magic in her audition tape, things changed for them both.

His visual style has often been compared to Terrence Malick, and that applies to “Wendy’s” loose and improvisational feel which gives the finished product a dreamlike quality. According to Zietlin, this also made it easier to work with a lot of kids in a very stressful movie set.

One night, Wendy and her brothers are whisked away by Peter and taken to an island where there are no adults and no one ages.

The adventure and freedom are a delight at first, but eventually, Wendy starts to long for home and it’s that love for her family that becomes a major asset when something threatens her brothers and the other children on the island.

According to her during an interview section. She stated that “Since Wendy is a lot like me it was a little easier to get into character. Some parts of the shoot were harder than others. The cave shoots were hard because you had bats flying around and freezing water when we shot underwater. When we were shooting in water but I wasn’t going underwater. I like swimming”.

In an interview with “Kevin Smith”, Devin explained how comfortable she always felt hanging out with kid-centric Wendy (2020) creator “Benh Zeitlin”, eating at "Taco Bell and watching war movies together". According to her “He likes Taco Bell and horror movies. But seriously, he is a genuinely good guy and he knows how to work with kids from his experience on “Beasts of the Southern Wild. He used bribery to get us to do stuff and it always works on kids. I’d still like to be friends with him after this movie and experience ends”.
