Denise Scott (Trump Supporter)
Denise Scott (Trump Supporter)
Denis Scott is a homeless woman and a supporter of Donald Trump during the U.S.
presidential election of 2016.
She is famous for attempting to guard Trump's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
October 27, 2016
One day before Denise Scott's incident went viral, a 53-year-man named James Otis destroyed Donald Trump's star on Hollywood Boulevard with a pick-ax earlier.
On October 27, a homeless woman sat on the boardwalk holding signs (along with several others she kept in her cart) displaying her support for Donald Trump, criticism against President Barack Obama for purportedly selling out the African American community, and complaints about immigrants without legal status.
The one that received most coverage read as follows: “20 Million Illegals and Americans sleep on the streets in tents.
Vote Trump.”
[3]Another one stated, "Illegals/undocumented sleep indoors.
Americans are homeless sleeping in parks under freeways behind dumpsters.
Home First dammit!!!
Can we go to Mexico for housing!
[...] Take Care.
Trump 2016."
She was eventually confronted and taunted by a group of people.
They surrounded her, berated her, and ripped up her signs.
She eventually collapsed on the pavement and continued to get verbally harassed.
(We are still seeking information about any details that led to the incident.)
