Demetrius Harris (born June 12, 1993) professionally known as Mechie So Crazy or Mechie is an American hip hop and R & B artist from Washington, D.C. ^{[6] [4] [1]}

Mechie is best known as being an original member of the group 4EY The Future. ^[6] Harris and the group rose to prominence after the success of their single "Scoot Ova". ^{[1] [7] [4]}

On August 5, 2019, he released his new music video "Wanna Be Your Man". The video gained 712,000 views in two weeks.^[15]

As of November 2019, Mechie has 557,000 followers on Instagram.^[1]

In 2019, Mechie took part in reality dating show Ex on the Beach Season 3.^[14] In several episodes, Mechie can be seen torn between his ex, Danielle Clarke and his potential next, Ariana Nova, who is Cameron Armstrong’s ex. He can bee seen juggling between both the ladies indecisively, which caused quite some friction amongst the trio. Ariana even posted a hurtful tweet about Mechie on her Twitter, leading the audience to believe that Mechie might be leaning more towards Danielle rather than Ariana.^[19]

However, Mechie picked Ariana during the final crush ceremony and chose to leave the show with her.

Despite having a strong history with Danielle, her answers in the lie-detector test didn’t sit well with the rapper.

Danielle’s test revealed that she wasn’t in love with Mechie, this response changed everything.

Before handing out the "crush necklace" to Ariana, he says that she is his perfect wife material and expressed his hope of her kicking Cameron out of her house.^[19]
