He is often associated as a meme rapper for his sophomoric lyrics and content related to foot fetishism, porn streaming sites, and fake online girlfriends, though DBangz has challenged such association by having demonstrated his ability for tenacious lyricism. [7] [8]

Music

In 2014, Lewis and his friend, Jonathan, who is also known as Snottyman[47], began rapping using Lewis' father's equipment in the garage. [14] They soon began to release the songs on SoundCloud. The style that he would emulate during his process as a recording artist were MF Doom and Earl Sweatshirt as he rhymes over golden era type beats. [15]

Lewis would eventually decide on the name DBangz. [16]
