David Machado Jr. is a career criminal from California who fatally shot police officer Dennis Wallace execution style on November 13, 2016.

On November 13, 2016, at around 8:30 a.m., Machado Jr. gunned down officer Dennis Wallace while the officer was investigating a stolen vehicle near Hughson, California.

^[1]Evidence showed that a gun had been held to the head of Wallace, and the trigger pulled twice.

Officers arriving to the scene soon after found his body outside of the patrol car with two gunshots to the head.

^[3]A manhunt was then underway for Machado Jr. who fled on foot.

Nearly four hours later, Machado tried to rob a woman of her purse near a convenience store in Lindsay, California and was arrested by police as he tried to flee on foot at 12:33p.m.

Machado Jr. had a warrant for previous felony criminal activity.
