Career

Healey discovered his passion for photography while serving as an infantry soldier in the Vietnam War. [1] hE has been active capturing the unseen since 1968. [undefined] Some of his projects include documentations of politicians in Washington D.C., street gangs in Los Angeles, and villages in Haiti. [undefined] His most recent project is called "Lost in Venice" and takes a picture of the streets of Venice Beach. [undefined]
Healey has given lectures about photography at educational institutions such as Cyprus College and UCLA. [undefined]
Personal Life
Healey's wife died of Leukemia in which he documented her battle in the photgraphy series "Pam's Story." [undefined] He would place 2nd in the NPPA Best of Photojournalism 2008 (still-photo, non-traditional). [undefined]
