David Cadwallader is a government and theater teacher at Chanute High School.
Allegations
On May 13, 2016 Cadwallader was arrested on suspicion of sexual relations with a student.
The complaint filed in Neosho County District Court lists one charge of unlawful sexual relations, a level 5 person felony.
Investigation
Cadwallader is accused of on or about the 1st day of February through the 2nd day of April, he engaged in consensual sexual intercourse/sodomy/lewd fondling or touching, and that at the time of the offense, he was in a position of authority and the person with whom the offender engaged in consensual sex is a person 16 years of age, a female student.
