David Ben Kay is a lawyer and blockchain enthusiast. He is the Chief Legal Counsel of Pundi X, a blockchain fintech startup focused on making cryptocurrency an enabler of ubiquitous cashless payment environments and financial services.

Early Life & Education
David Ben Kay graduated from the Inter-University Program for Chinese Language Study . He subsequently received his Master of Business Administration from the Thunderbird School of Global Management. After that, he received his J.D. from UCLA.
David Ben Kay has had a long career working in China, beginning with Dentons, an international law firm. Since then, he has helped establish more than 250 companies in that country. In the early 1990's, he set up Microsoft's China subsidiary, which led to him joining their team as general counsel in 2003. 
In recent years, he has advised dozens of startup companies and early-phase tech companies; this includes TV-Two, a decentralized TV and video streaming ecosystem that connects your TV to the Ethereum blockchain. He also developed an expertise in legal issues involving blockchain technology.
In October 2017, David Ben Kay served as an advisor to Pundi X, a payment processor that aims to increase cryptocurrency adoption for financial service providers. He officially joined the team as their Chief Legal Counsel in May 2018.
