Dashiell Mortell is a 19-year-old student at Washington State University and studied Political science and Sociology. He lived in Bainbridge Island, Washington, but originally hails from Los Angeles, California. Dashiell Mortell is the son of actress Dinah Manoff.

During his time at Bainbridge High School, Dashiell Mortell was an active student in and out of school. He was a part of student government, rowed with the Bainbridge Island Rowing Club and participated in theater productions with Bainbridge Performing Arts.

Dashiell Mortell is remembered for his intelligent conversations, infectious laugh, and for having a huge heart for others.

On Saturday, Dashiell Mortell was a passenger in a Ford Escape on I-90 when his vehicle flipped on its side after it hit another vehicle trying to slow down from an accident ahead of them. While in the vehicle with Dashiell Mortell was in was on its side, a truck collided into it, causing a six-car wreck.

The cause of the crash was the vehicle driving at too fast of a speed in hazardous winter weather conditions.

There have been complaints on Facebook for the Washington State Government to direct spending toward new infrastructure.
