Life and Activities
Dante attended Portage Central High School where he was an active part of his school's community. [undefined] A member of his high school's wrestling squad, Dante proved himself to be a gifted wrestler and dominated whatever weight class he participated in. He won regionals and went to the Michigan state tournament on multiple occasions. [undefined]
Outside a wrestling, Dante was a huge fan of the University of Michigan and would attend sporting events with his family. [undefined] Dante is remembered for not only being a dedicated athlete but someone who cared for his friends and family and would always be there to help them if they needed it.
Death
On the early morning of March 23rd, Dante was driving south on I-95 in Virgínia. He was in the state for a wrestling event. Around midnight, Dante lost control of his 2012 Chevrolet Impala and crashed into a tree. The accident occurred nearly a half mile south of Route 54 in Hanover County.
Dante was pronounced dead at the scene.
Although he was wearing a seatbelt, police suspect the high speed played a role in the crash.
