Danielle Weisberg is Cofounder and Chief Executive Officer of The Skimm, an email-based news delivery service launched in 2012.
Weisberg hails originally from Chicago, Illinois.
Early Life & Education
Weisberg was exposed to politics at an early age asking questions at family dinners like, “Why is Bill Clinton in trouble?” While attending Tufts University, she interned for Boston Magazine and MSNBC.
Career
Upon graduating in 2008, Danielle went to work for NBC News in Washington, DC where she covered everything from the election and inauguration to TARP hearings and health care reform rallies for “Nightly News” and the “Today” show.
In 2010, Danielle moved to New York, to produce for MSNBC’s “The Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell.”
In 2012, she and NBC co-worker Carly Zakin founded The Skimm.
